This Privacy Policy describes how SpookyPop (“SpookyPop”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our Service.

Unless explicitly stated, we do not use uploaded images to perform biometric identification and we do not create biometric templates for identification purposes.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information: username, email address, profile photo, bio, age/date of birth (if provided), and other information you choose to provide.
User Content: posts, comments, messages, reports, and other content you create or share.
Photos and media: images or other media you upload for profiles, posts, AI generation, support requests, or other features.
AI feature inputs and outputs: selected options, generation settings, output history, and feedback.
Purchase information: product identifiers, transaction identifiers, receipt validation data, purchase status, delivery status, and support records for in-app purchases.

1.2 Information collected automatically

We may collect device and usage information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, diagnostics, crash logs, network information, and device identifiers where permitted. We may also collect usage data such as pages viewed, content interactions, messaging activity, video call usage, AI generation activity, and purchase interactions.

2. Device Permissions

Depending on your use of the Service, we may request access to your camera, microphone, and photos so you can participate in video calls, upload content, or use AI features. We may also request notification permission for account, message, safety, or purchase notices. You can manage permissions in your device settings.

3. How We Use Information

To provide chat rooms, messaging, community posting, profiles, and other core features.
To operate AI generation features by processing your inputs and delivering outputs.
To enable video call features and related safety, moderation, and troubleshooting.
To process in-app purchases, validate receipts, deliver digital items, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests.
To personalize content, improve the Service, maintain security, and enforce our policies.

4. Sharing of Information

Service providers: we may share information with vendors that help operate the Service (hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, content moderation, security, and fraud prevention).
App stores and payment platforms: we may share purchase-related data for payment processing and receipt validation.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, SpookyPop, or the public.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. If you delete your account, we will take steps to delete or anonymize personal information, subject to reasonable exceptions (for example, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, and backups).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
